
I’m Akash Ramasani, a software engineer building backend systems and AI-powered products.
I’m a software engineer with experience building production-grade backend systems, internal APIs, and AI-driven applications. My work spans scalable cloud services, machine learning workflows, data platforms, and full-stack product development.
At Oracle, I worked on backend services and data pipelines for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using Python, FastAPI, Flask, SQL, and containerized deployment workflows. I focused on improving performance, reliability, observability, and deployment speed across enterprise systems.
I’ve also worked deeply in machine learning and computer vision, especially on satellite-image classification and geospatial ML. At ICAR, I built and evaluated models using Random Forest, SVM, CNN, KNN, Naive Bayes, and transfer learning for crop-classification workflows and regional estimation tasks.
More recently, I’ve been building modern AI-enabled applications with Python and OpenAI integrations, while continuing to sharpen my skills across backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and product development. I enjoy taking ideas from ambiguity to MVP and building systems that are useful beyond a demo.
